They also implemented a debate program, mentored students on future careers and introduced new sport activities. They also did extensive beautification of the interior and exterior of the school grounds.
The Coventry students participated in a full-day event with the Jordan Media Institute’s postgraduate students. Activities included panel discussions on the comparisons of various issues between the UK and Jordan. They also visited the ZAIN Innovation Campus (ZINC) and the Karak Innovation Centre where they participated in cultural activities with the local students.
The Coventry students interacted with the young school students of the Queen Rania Family and Child Centre and learnt about the complex issues that the Centre helps families deal with.
The visiting students were also exposed to warm Jordanian hospitality, ate traditional Jordanian cuisine and visited some of Jordan’s most well-known touristic sites, such as the Dead Sea and Karak Castle.
